I’m suprised no one commented on the sheer terror on Korra’s face in episode 9, right before she attacks Amon.
To me, her attack was complete terror and gut.
God, this girl gives me too much feels.
Look at her face- her pupils are small, her eyebrows are knit, and her teeth are clenched. She’s scared of Amon- she knows she’s not in the condition to fight him, nor does she think the can win. This is a big change from our original Fuck-shit-up-and-ask-questions-later Korra.
She’s learning.
She understands that, “Hey, I’m not invincible, and challenging this guy here would be suicide”. She recognizes that escape is the best action, so she basically completely rewired her instincts and attacked to get a lead.
Even though I don’t like seeing my baby scared, I have to say, this little development in itself just shows me what a badass Korra is.
